Getting a family member out of foster care in Florida?

Isnt there other family than can step up to the plate and take her, I'm afraid with your husbands past there is no way you will get her...no matter what year it is. I have family that have there grandchildren place with them through the state of Florida, and they did back ground checks on all of them, the grandfather had a citation from1974 that was brought up, and it was in no way a violent act...it was an open container. And even so long ago, they had to answer to that. If no family member has stepped up before now and the child is already in foster care, i heard it can take years to get the child...and sorry to tell you no judge will give any child to you in state care, with someone around that has a violent crime like robbery....they already have the child out of an environment for some reason, whey would they chance putting this child with someomne with a record of that degree?
