Is the 'humanitarian' war in Libya akin to the 'weapons of mass destruction' that didnt exist in Iraq?

.. according to all ive been able to research, Gaddafi had Libyas own bank, nationalized the oil, every citizen received equivalent allowance 500$ a year from the oil and received equivalent 20,000$ whn couples married and people were generally happy and prosperous in Libya until outside forces were brought in to organize rebellions on the outskirts ... so why are we really in Libya? Why does the government think im such an idiot i believe we are protecting civilians over there? .. why. why, why? Theyve even called for Gaddafis assassination and wound up killing some more kids already .. yay, this is my country .. im so proud ..
