Northern Ireland/Ireland?

Ok so I've just found out I'm a quarter Irish/Northern Irish. My Grandma (who died before I was born) was Irish and I've just found this out. She lived in the outskirts of Belfast which is in the North of Ireland. My question is when I tell people, would I say I am a quarter Northern Irish or just say I'm a quarter Irish?? Which is best or doesn't it really matter?
