Interesting murder cases?

I'm writing an essay on crime and I decided to choose murder because of the profound impact it has. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew any interesting murder cases, preferably solved cases but unsolved would also be appreciated. I've been reading about the Moors Murders and Fred West and I found those cases quite interesting, so anything similar to them would also be appreciated.
